Hillary Riggs is an artist, business woman and entrepreneur. In 1981 Riggs and late husband Graham Nugent started Sombraje, a company manufacturing innovative twig shutters and hand crafted furniture. In 1990 Riggs assumed control of Sombraje, and in 1995 sold the company. She immediately started Quimera, manufacturing high-end one-of-a-kind art furniture. In 2001 Hillary became angel investor and founding partner of KnowmTech, an IP holding company for Knowm technology. Hillary has been instrumental in building the company infrastructure for Knowm and M. Alexander Nugent Consulting (MANC), a government SBIR/STTR research company focused on commercialization of Knowm technology.
